The intensive Computing Unit of Oran University1 provides researchers with hardware and software to perform intensive computing requiring significant resources in time, memory, or disk space.

The UCI also aims to bring together computer scientists, numericians and users of intensive computing.

The unit will also promote the development and demonstration of innovative applications and the optimization of hardware architectures capable of supporting complex computer applications.

BullX Cluster Training

The Intensive Computing Unit at the University of Oran 1 offers training on how to use the BullX cluster. This training will cover the following aspects:

1- Familiarization with the Linux operating system.

2- Presentation of hardware and software resources to the UCI.

3- Remote connectivity with UCI resources.

4- Compilation and execution of parallel programs.

The Intensive Computing Unit of the University of Oran 1 offers training on parallel computation MPI & OpenMP. This training will cover the following aspects:

1- Introduction to the basic routines and functions of MPI / OpenMP.

2- Practical exercises and advanced use of MPI / OpenMP.
